Familytea is the community membership of The Narrative LA, a creative space in South Los Angeles built for people who want to actually connect, not just collect contacts.
It was born at our Welcome to LA mixer, where transplants and natives came together and decided something real was worth building. Founding members get their first 3 months free, 2 sessions per month, as our way of honoring the people who showed up first. After that, membership is $25–$50 per month.
The membership opens to everyone soon at $25–$50 per month. Same community, same space, same access.

What Familytea actually is
Familytea is the community membership of The Narrative LA, a creative space rooted in South Los Angeles. It was born at our Welcome to LA mixer in May and June 2026, where transplants and natives sat down together and decided something real was worth building.
Founding members get their first 3 months free, with 2 sessions per month at the space. That is our way of honoring the people who showed up first. After 3 months, membership continues at $25–$50 per month. When the membership opens to everyone, that same rate applies from day one. Both get the same thing: two sessions a month, a hand in shaping our events, volunteer opportunities, and field trips around LA together.
Members who want to go further can host their own paid events at The Narrative LA through the Communitea program, a joint initiative with @PourTeaLA that has a profit share agreement already built in. Your hustle, your event, your earnings. We just provide the space and the structure.
We hear you. We see you. And we appreciate you for authentically showing up. All you have to do is keep coming.
